Daily Prayer – March 18

Philippians 1:29-30. “For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for Him, since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.” O God, we are so privileged to have heard and believed in Your love portrayed in the death of Jesus for us. You have redeemed us by Your grace and made us a part of Your eternal family. Our blessings in Him are beyond description. But there are also hardships that come to us for at times we must suffer the opposition of unbelievers who do not want our witness of faith. Even so it is a privilege to suffer in His name.

There are constant struggles as we seek to advance the Kingdom for the resistance of the evil one is ever present. Thank you for the fact that the church in Your power can even storm the gates of hell in pursuit of the souls that are lost.

You know the struggles in the life of this person who waits before You now. Grant this one joy and victory in believing that we can conquer in Jesus name.

Amen
