Mrs. Lottie Frances Thomas, age 78 of Blue Ridge, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015, at home.She was born on Wednesday, March 18, 1936 in Chester, South Carolina to the late Raymond and Violia Mackey Hefner. Mrs. Thomas was retired in electronics from Lockheed Martin. She was preceded in death by brother, Bud Houch and son, Keith Thomas.
Survivors are her husband, Willard Thomas of Blue Ridge, GA; sons, Ray Thomas of Murphy, NC and Eddie Thomas (Jodie) of Orlando, FL; daughters, Joan Edwards (Tommy) of Copperhill, TN, Sandy Dilorenzo of Ellijay, GA and Ashley Yonker (Michael) of Blue Ridge, GA; sisters, Hassie Stearns, Annie George and Mary Minton; grandchildren, Daphne Silverberg, Carol Thomas, John Anthony Dilorenzo and Chassidy Wheeler and great grandchildren, Arabelle and Cheyanne Thomas, Dakota, Logan and Aiden Yongers, Kaylon Wheeler and Emerson and Kyden Silverberg also survive.
Mrs. Thomas was cremated and no service or visitation is planned. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
