David E. Ray, age 87, of Morganton, GA passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.He was born May 2, 1927 in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Susan of Morganton; brothers, Steven and John; sister, Judy; sons, Michael and Stephen; daughter, Susan; brother-in-law, David; sisters-in-law, Gerri and Barbara; nieces and nephews.
He served our country in World War II and the Korean War. He was a teacher, coach, and later had a business in marine engineering.
Per David’s wishes, there will be no memorial services.
