Betty Lou Fisher: Obituary

Mrs. Betty Lou Fisher age 74 of Blue Ridge, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014, at home.She was born on Monday, September 16, 1940 in Winfield, AL to the late Troy and Tennie Tucker Beasley. Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Athel Beasley, Ellis Beasley, Clairene Burnette, Faye Emerson, Shirley Stevens and Frank Beasley.

Survivors are her husband, Clarence (Max) Fisher of Blue Ridge; two sons, Ronald Keith Fisher of Milton, GA and Roger Fisher (Beth) of Newnan, GA; brothers, Robert Beasley of Hixson, TN and Murray Beasley of Oxford, AL; three grandchildren, Reagan, Stephen and Emily Fisher also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with the Min. Terry York and Min. Dennis Morris officiating. Music will be by the congregation. Interment will follow on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Central Standard Time (2:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time) from the Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 28, 2014 after 2:00 p.m. but especially from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
