Mr. Frank Alba Sisson, age 83, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Sisson was born in Gilmer County, GA on February 23, 1931 to the late Floyd M. Sisson and Nona Tama Long Sisson. He was a sawmill operator and of the Church of Christ faith. Mr. Sisson loved yard selling, flea marketing, blue grass music and collecting bottles and jars. He is survived by three children, Rita Carol Sisson, Steve Sisson, and Shirley Sisson, all of Blue Ridge; a sister, Rosemary King; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Terry Stuart officiating. Interment will follow in the Cashes Valley Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
