Daily Prayer: 09/14/2014

“Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.” James 3:1-2.O Lord, we are thankful for all of the teachers who have helped us develop our Christian lives. They modeled for us what we wanted to become in terms of being Bible students and servants in the Kingdom.

You have made it a divine calling to be a teacher of the faith. In the scriptures we read, “…and he gave some, teachers…”

We know that the class members hold the teacher to a greater strictness as to personal deportment and alignment with your word. We also know that you, Lord, hold the teachers of what you say to a much higher degree than any class.

Bless the teachers and the students in our churches and schools that they will be the kind of people on whom your favor can rest, in Jesus name,

Amen.
