Master Carson Bobby Long, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Union General Hospital.Survivors are parents, Courtney Ware of Blue Ridge and Calvin Long of Morganton; maternal grandparents, Anthony and Sheila Ware of Blue Ridge; paternal grandparents, Terrie and the late Bobby Long of Morganton; maternal great grandparents, Rev, Gene and Jessie Ruth Ware of Blue Ridge; paternal great grandparent, Lemma Sanford of Ellijay; paternal great grandparents, Billy and the late Joyce Messer of Blue Ridge; aunts and uncles, Shane (Jordan) Ware of Blue Ridge, Jackie (Shawn) Seabolt of Morganton and Tayelor Long of Morganton.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with the Rev. Gene Ware officiating. Music was by Carrie Crawford, Michelle Queen and Cathrine Raper.
Interment followed in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tony Daves and Scott Ware. Honorary Pallbearers were Eric Seabolt, Luke Seabolt, Mitchell Tipton, Mike Tipton, Wiley Tipton, Oran Daves, Shane Ware, Scotty G. Ware, Brandon Stiles and John Foster.
