After approving the purchase of a new ambulance months ago, the county now has the new machine ready for use.According to EMA Director Robert Graham, this truck is a remount. This means that the box portion of the truck was mounted on a new truck chassis.
The truck is already in service. It is a brand new Chevy 4 wheel drive.
The new ambulance takes place of the oldest one in service at the Morganton Station.
