Roy Webster Chastain, Jr., 66 of Blue Ridge, passed away February 28, 2014 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.Mr. Chastain was born December 18, 1947 in Bartow County, GA to the late Roy Webster Chastain, Sr. and the late Hattie Harrison Chastain. He attended the Mobile Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandchildren, Zak and Emma Marchman. Roy loved reading in his spare time. He also liked to take walks in the woods with his Chocolate Lab, Dee.
Survivors include loving wife, Ann Brock Chastain, daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and Randy Marchman, son, Roy Webster Chastain III, daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Denise and David Pittman, sister, Glenda Dianne Brown, six grandchildren, Thomas Logan Chastain, Britney LeAnne Chastain, Dixie Ann Chastain, Roy Webster Gregory Chastain IIII, Ella Nicole Chastain, and Clyde Hilton Chastain, and one great-grandchild, Landon Michael Millsaps.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Mobile Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Queen and Rev. Travis Davenport officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Military honors will be presented by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
