Terry Profilio : Obituary

The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces funeral services for Mr. Terry Lee Profilio, age 59 of Hiawassee passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013.
Terry was born October 20, 1954 in Plant City, Florida. He had a personality that drew people toward him. Terry was a comedian who genuinely loved people. He wasn’t bashful and never met a stranger, often cutting up with people he just met moments ago. In every situation he would inject his sense of humor and that is possibly why everyone seemed to like him even if it was sometimes slightly mischievous. Terry was always there to lend a helping hand. He donated his time and talents to many things like making tables and chairs for the children of a local daycare center. He was a talented woodworker and worked in a cabinet shop for a little while. He was not one to complain, even with heath problems in his later years, he maintained a positive outlook on life. He was determined to do things for himself and didn’t believe in giving up. Terry would never want to inconvenience someone else if he could help it.

He liked his cats and would take care of strays because he felt sorry for them. He enjoyed old movies and TV shows that described the values and personality of that generation. Terry was preceded in death by his father, John Profilio.

He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him, but especially missed by his family: mother & step-father, Betty & Wayne Sprinkles; brother, Jonathon Sprinkles; nephew, Landon Sprinkles; nieces, Kayla & Hayley Sprinkles; aunts, Joan Cole & Ethel Lee Hartsfield; and uncle & aunt, Herman & Shirley Swanson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Jarrard officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Hills Memory Gardens. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Reggie Sprinkles, Royce Nicholson, Dwight Swanson, Herman Swanson, Roy Dean Sprinkles and Terry Taylor.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 9 pm.

Arrangements entrusted to the care of Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee.
