Eunice Roberson : Obituary

Mrs. Eunice Mary Roberson, age 84 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Heritage Health Care Of Blue Ridge.Mrs. Roberson was born March 4, 1929 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late William Ralph Henson and the late Anna Mae Dye Henson. She was preceded in death by her husband J.J. Roberson. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Roberson enjoyed sewing, cooking and taking care of her family. She also liked gospel and blue grass music and always looked forward to attending blue grass festivals. She preferred staying busy and traveling.

Survivors include: son, Steve Roberson, daughter, Janice (Ed) Howard, son, Russell (Susie) Roberson, Brother, Cecil Henson, sister, Hazel Ware, sister, Edith Hyde, Brother, Jack Henson, sister, Betty Hawkins, granddaughter, Christina Hood, grandson, Adam Howard, granddaughter, Katy Roberson, grandson, Neal Howard, great grandson, Will Hood.

Funeral services: Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Pallbearers include: Rick Thomas, Butch Shook, Junior Kyle, Windell Davis, Darrell Davis, and Jerry Falls. Honorary Pallbearer is Randall Davis.

The family will receive friends at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Monday evening 5-8 PM.
