In the 2012-2013 school year, June Walker Chevrolet sponsored Fannin County High School in the “Chevy Drive for Perfection” program by the Georgia Best Chevy Dealers.High school seniors from sponsored schools in Georgia who achieved 98% or better attendance (with no unexcused absences) were eligible for a drawing to receive a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze or Chevrolet Sonic. The program also offered the opportunity to raise funds for each sponsored school. Community members were able to test drive a vehicle at their local sponsoring Chevrolet dealership to redeem $50 back to their sponsored school! Through this test drive initiative, metro-Atlanta schools raised $98,900! and Fannin County High School earned $3,650.00. Pictured is FCHS Principal Erik Cioffi and June Walker Chevrolet Dealer Jeff Walker during the check presentation.
Fannin County Schools have an excellent student attendance program. Mr. Walker saw first hand Mr Cioffi’s attendance efforts and thought the Chevy program was a natural fit. Mr. Walker also acknowledged the efforts of Assistant Principal Scott Ramsey and the entire 2012 – 2013 FCHS Senior Class.
The Chevy Drive for Perfection program is again in place during the current 2013-2014 school year. Please help us by encouraging student school attendance and visit June Walker Chevrolet for a Chevy qualifying test drive to raise money for the schools during the test drive periods!
