FCHS FFA Members Earn Awards at Banquet

Fannin County High School FFA members earned awards at the North Region Area 1 Awards Banquet. The banquet was held at Chattahoochee Technical College in Acworth on May 7.Cody O’Neal received a plaque and $50.00 for placing first in the Reporter Leadership Competition, Amber White placed first in the Secretary Award competition and received a plaque and $50.00, Hunter Patterson was recognized as the first place winner in the Treasurer Leadership Award Competition and was awarded $50.00 and a plaque. David Roberson accepted the award on behalf of the Environmental Natural Resources Career Development Event Team for placing 2nd, Kelly Ross accepted the chapter’s first place National FFA Week Application Award plaque and $100.00, Lakota Towe received an award plaque and $50.00 for placing 1st in horse evaluation career development event. Taylor VanZandt accepted the award plaque for the 2nd place Horse Evaluation Career Development Event Team. Lucas Ryan and Jake Davis were the voting delegates representing the chapter.
