The Fannin County High School Rebels wrestling team was represented by Blake Callihan at the 195lbs weight class. Callihan was the lone Rebel to qualify for the tournament this year.Callihan faced Dakota Green in the first round. Callihan was unable to get pasted Green and fell to the first round of the consolation matches.
Callihan faced Israel Wheat of Carver in the first round of “wrestle backs.” Despite scoring nine points on Wheat, Callihan fell by eight points. The defeat cost Callihan a guaranteed medal spot (top six), and chance to compete for third or fourth place.
