James Milburn Watkins, age 77 of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.Mr. Watkins was born January 25, 1935 in Whitestone, GA to the late Henry Coleman Watkins Reba White Watkins. He was a member of McCaysville Church of Christ. He retired from Lockeed Martin as a tool designer after 43 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, playing banjo, mandolin, fiddle and guitar.
Survivors include: wife, Patsy Godfrey Watkins, son, James (Ann) Watkins, Jr., daughter, Debra (David) Clackum, sister, Geraldene Carter, sister, Mildred Darby, Brother, Johnny Watkins, Brother, Eddie Watkins, granddaughter, Bonnie Jill Clackum, grandson, Jon Phillip Clackum and many nieces and nephews.
Services: Monday, December 31, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the McCaysville Church Of Christ with the Minister Keith Richie and Minister Bill Johnston officiating.
