The day starts off with Tuba Christmas performing from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus arrive on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway at 11:15. There will be a parade at 11:30. Various events throughout the day as well. Trackless train rides around town, live reindeer and much more! Lighting of the tree will be between 6:15 and 6:45 p.m., followed by live music from 7 to 8 p.m. Downtown shops will be open late so bring the whole family for a holiday of fun, perfect to start the season off right.
