Grace Lawrence Peacock : Obituary

Mrs. Grace Lawrence Peacock, age 92, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Peacock was born on November 18, 1919 to the late Emory Lawrence and Hattie Davis Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Franklin Peacock and a son, John Peacock. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and loved gardening and cooking.

She is survived by children, Harriette (Richard) Bryant of McCaysille, GA, Dr. Ronald T. (Toni) Peacock of Augusta, GA, and Jackie Cobb of Morganton, GA; daughter-in-law, Joe Ellen Peacock of Plymoth, FL; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Dr. Roger Beck officiating. Music will be provided by Greg Norton. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
