East Fannin Elementary School kicks off Accelerated Reader Program today with Haeley Vaughn.Season 9 American Idol contestant Haeley Vaughn performed at East Fannin Elementary School on Friday, September 21, to help kick off their Accelerated Reader program. The excited elementary school students radiated energy throughout the packed gym as they were eager for Haeley Vaughn to perform for them and also to learn about the accelerated reader program for their school. Students are rewarded based on a point system wish is determined by the amount they read. Awards begin with Mrs. Hicks dressing up as a Georgia Bulldog fan, sock hop/dress up day, hot chocolate & board games day, Dr Suess Celebration and ride the train & picnic day.
