Jacquelyn Cordell : Obituary

Jacquelyn Silvey Cordell, age 55, of Young Harris, Georgia, went to heaven on Saturday, September 1, 2012 in Union General Hospital in Blairsville.

Jacquelyn was born in Andrews, North Carolina, on March 9, 1957, a daughter of the late Lester Paul Silvey, Jr., and Mae Belle Shook Silvey. She had lived in Towns County, Georgia, for most of her life and was a member of Old Union Baptist Church.

Jacquelyn was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her; especially her family members: sister, Janet Marie Grassi of Young Harris, and brother, Gerald Silvey, of Chickamauga, Georgia; two nephews: Jason Silvey and Cody Silvey; niece, Amanda Grassi; great nieces: Astrid Martin Grassi and Tristen Silvey; and great nephew, Jett Silvey.

No services are planned at this time. If you wish to do so, memorial contributions may be made to Union County Cancer Center.
