Mrs. Addie Mae Fair, age 90, of the Life Care Center passed away May 26, 2012.Born in Fannin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Burton Ross and Ada Frankie Wilson Ross. She was retired from the Levi Strauss Company in Blue Ridge where she had worked for thirty five years. Mrs. Fair was of the Baptist Faith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Charles Fair; infant son, Charles Lonnie Fair; siblings, Roy Ross, Festus Ross, Earl Ross, Harold Ross, Imogene R. McClure, Ruth R. Pickelsimer and Grace R. Turner.
Survivors include one daughter, Joan and John Thrasher of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Tony Thrasher and Lisa Thrasher Dockery of Blue Ridge, GA; great grandchildren, Christian Elijah Dockery and Ella Victoria Dockery; brothers, Kenneth (Maxine) Ross of Epworth, GA, Robert (Martha) Ross and Marion (Betty) Ross all of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-laws, Johnnie Ross of Blue Ridge, GA Juanita Fair of Blairsville, GA and Uravee Foster of Memphis, TN.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday May 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the Epworth Baptist Church Cemetery.
