Annie H Tyler, age 100 of Blairsville, Georgia went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was born in New Brockton, AL on October 1, 1911and moved to Seminole, Florida in 1930 where she resided until moving to Blairsville in 2008. For many years she owned and operated a retail and shipping citrus business called the Fruit Basket. She was a member of the Seminole Community Chapel, the Seminole Civic Club and the T.T.T. Society, Florida Chapter E. The Highlight of her life was a trip to the Holy Land which she had dreamed of and prayed for since she was a child. Her desire always was to walk in the earthly footsteps of Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Campbell Tyler, daughter, Betty Ann Tipton, parents, Curtis and Willa Bell Brunson Hutchison and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: daughter, Barbara T. (Jim) Reese of Blairsville, Georgia, grandsons, E. James (Noelle) Reese III of Hartwell, Georgia and Christopher M. Reese of Seminole, Florida, 3 grandchildren, Brittany, Ashlyn and Logan Reese and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements at this time are incomplete and will be announced later by the Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, GA.
