Milus L. Maney, Jr.,age 84, of Tellico Plains, TN went home to be with Jesus, Saturday night, March 10, 2012 at Woods Memorial Hospital in Etowah, TN.
He was of the Holiness Faith and a member of Norwood Hill House of Prayer. He was the former owner of Maney Grocery in Farner, TN. He loved the Lord and his family, and was a talented mechanic and welder. He was preceded in death by his parents; eight siblings; one daughter, Deborah Maney Daugherty; and one grandson, Christopher Maney.
He is survived by his wife of sixty one years, Betty Craig Maney; Son and daughter-in-law, Milus “Randy” (Jo Ann) Maney III of Blue Ridge, GA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Laura Maney (Arlie Jr. “Rusty”) Wilson of Tellico Plains, TN, Linda Maney (Ruben) Campbell of Maryville, TN, Julie Maney (Josh) Salazar of Tellico Plains, TN; sister Helen Maney Hubble of Buford, GA; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 13th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. from the Myers Funeral Home with Brother John Wynn and Pastor Don Harris officiating.
Family and friends will assemble at the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Farner, TN, Wednesday, March 14th for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
