The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Cleo Cleaston Gibson, age 67, of Turtletown, TN who passed away Friday, January 20, 2012. Cleaston was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing as one of his hobbies and was self-employed as a vinyl siding installer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Taft and Lucy Loudermilk Gibson and siblings: Danny Gibson, Leon Gibson, Pete Gibson and Sally Jones.

He is survived by children: Sherry Renae Gibson of Knoxville, TN, Angie Rose of Loudon, TN, Timothy Stiles of Turtletown, TN, Paladin Gibson of Loudon, TN; his longtime girlfriend of thirty years, Ellen Stiles of Turtletown, TN; sisters, Effie Gibson of Turtletown, TN and Dorothy Gibson of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren, Aidan Gibson, Amanda Rose; Great grandchild, Brayden Rose.
