Elene McNabb : Obituary

Ms. Elene McNabb, age 92, of Ducktown, TN, passed away January 17, 2012 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin.Ms. McNabb was born November 10, 1919, in Ducktown, TN, to the late Horace McNabb and the late Lena Pickelsimer McNabb. She was a member of the Mine City Baptist Church and was very active in the Eastern Stars, serving as Worthy Matron in the past. Elene was fondly called Ms. E. by her co-workers at the Tennessee Chemical Company, where she retired after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Walter H. McNabb, Jr.

Survivors include: niece, and husband, Candy & Alva Holstein of Rockmart, GA; nephew and wife, Mac & Cindy McNabb of Rockmart, GA; great nephew & wife, Jeff & Michelle Holstein of Taylorsville, GA; nephews, Brandon , Logan Holstein both of Rockmart, GA; one great niece, Macy McNabb of Rockmart, GA and one great-great niece, Ella Holstein of Taylorsville, GA.

Funeral services: Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, McCaysville, Georgia at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Keith Smith officiating, and music will be provided by Mary Lou Davis.
Interment will follow at the Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens, iBlue Ridge, GA. Serving as pallbearers will be Grady Burger, Leon Burger, Jr. Burger, Jake Burger, Hubert Picklesimer, and Buddy Pickelsimer..

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening , January 20, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
