Mrs. Anne Bell Davenport, age 77 of Epworth, GA passed away September 24, 2011 at Copper Basin Life Care.
Mrs. Davenport was born March 14, 1934 in Copperhill, TN to the late Alvis E. Arp and the late Ethel E. Hyde Arp. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Milton Davenport, brother Hoyt Arp and brother James “Jim” Arp.
Survivors include: son, Wesley Davenport, daughter, Renae McClure, daughter, Rebecca Hawkins and daughter & son-in-law, Debra and Michael Brown. Eight Grandchildren and Eleven Great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Culberson, NC.
Pallbearers will include Justin Davenport, Travis Hawkins, Jason Mundy, Chris Buntin, Michael Brown, Alan Collis, Justin Monteith and Ricky Ketchens
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Monday, September 26, 2011 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Finch-Cochran Funeral Home to help difer funeral expenses.
