Fannin Rebels pitcher, James Bennett, has signed his letter of intent, and will play baseball at Shorter College. He will be accompanied by his Rebels teammate, and future roommate, Ryan Nix, who signed with Shorter earlier this summer. Bennett was able to make the earlier signing due to his being out of town at the time.Bennett, who won the pitching award, for the Rebels, looks to contribute immediately on the mound, but is open to playing other positions, something he has grown accustom to over the last few years in a Rebel uniform.
