Raymond Knox : Obituary

Mr. Raymond Knox, age 86 of Morganton, passed away May 25, 2011 at Northside Cherokee Hospital.Mr. Knox was born in Abilene, TX on February 05, 1925 to parents Daniel Boon Knox and Eula Mae Knox. Mr. Knox was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Survivors include: wife, Eula Knox; daughter, Kathy Shoemaker, daughter, Brenda Lee Carey, daughter, Renee Hughes; aunt, Roxie Halford; grandson, Timothy Reichart; granddaughter, Tammy Fricton, granddaughter, Tracy, granddaughter, Tiffy LeCroy and many friends.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2011 in the Henry Cochran Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 2:00pm in the Henry Cochran Funeral Chapel with Reverend Roger Beck officiating. Interment will follow in the Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements for Mr. Knox were entrusted to the the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
