Rev. Phillip Edward Conner : Obituary

The Akins Funeral of Copperhill announces the death of Rev. Phillip Edward Conner, age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA who passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011.Rev. Conner was born in Fannin County to the late Andy and Margaret Beck Conner. He was retired from the Fannin County Board of Education where he was employed as a school bus driver.

He is survived by his wife of fifty eight years, Dellie Mae Green Conner of Blue Ridge, GA; two sons, Randall Conner and Melvin Conner, both of Blue Ridge, GA; brother, Robert Conner of Cleveland, TN; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 9th at 1:00 p.m. from the Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ed O’Neal and Rev. Melvin O’Neal officiating. Music will be by the Crawford family. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
