Dorothy Evelyn Coleman, age 66 of Murphy, NC, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, March 1, 2011.Dorothy was born in Cherokee, NC in May of 1944. She was Baptist in Faith and loved reading her Bible. She was preceded in death by father, Tom Taylor.
Survivors include: son, James Coleman, daughter, Ann Clifton, sister, Bee Fannin, sister, Adalee Miller, Brother, Ford Taylor and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Ried’s Chapel Church in Bear Paw with Reverend Amy Spiva officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Thursday night at the Cochran Funeral Home in Murphy. Interment will take place immediately after the service in the church cemetery.
