Georgia Tech junior offensive tackle Nick Claytor said Wednesday that he plans to forgo his senior season and enter the 2011 NFL Draft.Claytor, 6-6, 285, started 10 games and helped the Yellow Jackets lead the nation in rushing offense in 2010. A Gainesville, Georgia native who now lives in Atlanta, Claytor played in 35 career games and started 15 times.
At Gainesville High School, Claytor was considered one of the top offensive line prospects in the state. He came to Georgia Tech in 2007 and redshirted as a true freshman. Claytor’s first career start came Nov. 1, 2008 against Florida State.
Last year, Georgia Tech juniors Morgan Burnett, Jonathan Dwyer, Derrick Morgan and Demaryius Thomas declared for the NFL Draft.
