Lady Rebels Finish Regular Season Undefeated In Region Play

TeamFYNSports

For the second straight year, the Fannin County Lady Rebels have finished their regular season undefeated in region 7AA play.

With Fridays win over Pepperell, the Lady Rebels are 24-0 over the past 2 seasons in region games! Led by Seniors Becca Ledford, Jenna Young and Reagan York, Fannin wraps up their regular season with a 22-2 overall record, all while remaining undefeated in front of their home crowd.

Obviously home court advantage is a big deal for Fannin as they try to make a run at another state title game as they did last year, and winning this years Region 7AA tournament (which is being held in Blue ridge fyi) could allow them to play nearly every playoff game at home.

The Region Tournament will kick off at Fannin County High School on Tuesday night at 4:00pm, as Gordon Central and Pepperell will take the court, followed by Dade County and the Model/Coosa winner (played Monday night @ Model).
