Ambassador and Leads Group Members Needed
Now is the time to make a New Year’s resolution to do more networking, and the Chamber’s Ambassador and Leads Groups are a perfect way to meet more people while gaining exposure for your business. Both of these groups found a way to get together in 2020, even if it was on Zoom. Hopefully 2021 will be more normal than 2020! Ambassadors meet for lunch every month, attend Ribbon Cuttings and Chamber events, and represent the Chamber in the community. The Leads Group also meets monthly for lunch to network and exchange leads. If you are interested in joining one of these groups, contact Dianne Mallernee – [email protected] or call 706-632-5680.

Buy, Eat, Shop Local for the Holidays and All Year Long!
There are so many reasons to Buy Local! Buying local SUPPORTS COMMUNITY GROUPS! Local businesses are the cornerstone of many volunteer and charitable organizations. Businesses give freely to support the good deeds of others, and are also major contributors to schools and little league sports teams.
Buying local KEEPS OUR COMMUNITY UNIQUE! Buying local provides businesses with the dollars to survive. Many local businesses are one-of-a-kind and target the community for success. They work to fill a niche that is unique to the people they serve.
Small Business Saturday is coming up November 28. Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses and communities across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Buy, Eat, Shop Local for the Holidays and All Year Long!
There are so many reasons to Buy Local! Buying local STRENGHTENS OUR LOCAL ECONOMY! Did you know that when a dollar is spent locally, the biggest part of that dollar stays local?! Businesses use about 50 cents of every dollar for employee salaries and benefits. Much of the rest is invested in the business for inventory, expansion and operating costs. Only a few cents ever find their way out of town!
Buying local BUILDS LOCAL RELATIONSHIPS! When you shop locally you get to know the people you deal with and they know you. This develops Trust and a knowledge of each other that can only be found locally.
Small Business Saturday is coming up November 28. Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses and communities across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
