On Friday, September 11th we recognized our August’s star students and star staff! The character trait for the month of August was “Kindness”. Some who is friendly, generous and considerate. We would like to share these KIND Blue Ridge bears with you all!

Superhero 5K race to be held Saturday, April 4

Superhero 5K Race

The fourth-annual Superhero 5K race will be held Saturday, April 4, beginning at 8 a.m., in downtown Blue Ridge near the stage and BBQ pit. There will be a fun run for all ages first and the 5K will start immediately after at 8:30 a.m.

Winners will receive a medal and the overall male and female winner will receive the coveted superhero capes. Awards will be give in all age groups for male and female racers. Water and light post-race snacks will be provided.

There will be door prizes, music, and a costume context for those who want to come dressed as their favorite superhero.

The fundraiser will benefit Blue Ridge Elementary and the Blue Ridge Elementary PTO.

Early registration ends Monday, March 16. Registration costs $20 until that date and $25 after. Staff and students cost $15 before March 16 and $20 after.

Late registration continues through race day, but T-shirt are not guaranteed.
