    The Fannin Rebels baseball team had four players sign letters of intent to play baseball for the Hiwassee College Tigers. All four Rebels signed to play for head coach, Shane Gardner, while on a visit to the school. The signing took place in the Hiwassee Hall of Fame Room.

    The Fannin County High School Rebels soccer team fell to Jackson 6-2 in the Region 8-AA Tournament. Both the girls’ and boys’ tennis teams fell in the first round. The boys baseball team was swept in the first round by North Oconee County, 7-0 and 10-0.

    The Fannin County High School Rebels baseball team traveled to East Hall to take on the Vikings. The Rebels rode away victorious over the Vikings with a 6-2 win. Andrew “Peddles” Hyatt led the Rebels on the mound, picking up the win, while pitching a complete game.

  • Fannin Falls at Lumpkin: Indians Scalp Rebels 6-3

    The Fannin County High School Rebels baseball made the pilgrimage to Lumpkin County to take on the Indians. The Indians scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth, and withstood a furious Fannin rally in the top of the seventh to secure a 6-3 win.
