Fannin Tip off Club – warrants issued for theft by conversion in connection with missing funds *Updated*

According to authorities warrants were issued in Fannin County on Friday, June 30th, for Charles Edward Stepp and Rhonda Stepp.

Both were charged with Theft by Conversion which stemmed from an investigation which began earlier this year.  Scott Ramsey, Ed.D., Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Fannin County High School notified FYN back on February 20th regarding a meeting with the Fannin County Tip Off Club.

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss an issue concerning club funds.  The Fannin County Tip Off Club reported during this meeting that the Fannin County Sheriff would be conducting a full blown investigation into misappropriation of funds.

 

 

The warrants issued Friday were the result of this investigation.

Charles Edward Stepp was charged with Theft by Conversion with bond set at $25,000.  Rhonda Stepp was charged with Theft by Conversion with her bond set at $50,000.  FYN will continue to follow and bring updates as they become available.
