WANTED: Brave Cowboys, Clever Detectives & Animal Lovers!
There’s trouble brewin’ in the Old West, partner, and we need your help!
The Humane Society of Blue Ridge is invitin’ all good folks to mosey on over to Watkins Barn & Venue on Thursday, July 30th, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM for a rootin’, tootin’, mystery-filled evenin’ at our Western Murder Mystery Dinner.
Dust off your boots, grab your hat, and prepare for a wild night of laughter, suspense, and good old-fashioned frontier fun. Western attire is encouraged but not required.
This ain’t your ordinary murder mystery! Eight lucky guests will be handed a character role and script, becoming part of the action as the story unfolds. The rest of the crowd will spend the evening gatherin’ clues, questionin’ suspects, and tryin’ to figure out who committed the crime—and why!
And keep your eyes on the prize, partner!
Awards will be handed out for:
Best Detective – for the sharpest sleuth in the saloon
Best Costume – for the finest-dressed cowboy or cowgirl on the frontier
Best Actor – for the guest who steals the show and brings their character to life
Tickets are $100 per person.
Along with the mystery, guests will enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner from Carroll’s Barbeque featuring slow-smoked barbecue, classic Southern sides, fresh bread and a homemade dessert. Come hungry because we’ll have all the fixin’s!
• Two drink tickets (beer/wine)
• A chance to win a door prize
• Music, raffles, auctions, and plenty of surprises
A beer and wine bar will be available throughout the evening.
But this shindig is about more than just fun. Every dollar raised helps the Humane Society of Blue Ridge continue rescuing, caring for, and finding loving homes for animals in need. We also provide low-cost veterinary care, spay and neuter programs, and community outreach services throughout our region.
Unlike many folks assume, we receive no funding from the government and are not affiliated with any national humane society. We ride solely on the generosity of our community.
So gather your posse, solve a mystery, and help give homeless animals a second chance at life.
The stakes are high. The clues are hidden. The culprit is among us.
Will you crack the case before the sun sets?
Tickets are limited, so don’t wait. Every ticket sold helps save lives.
