PRESS RELEASE- Due to non-specific threat rumors, the Fannin County School System will operate as a Virtual Learning Day tomorrow, September 9, 2024. Schools will be closed, but all directors and school administrators should report. Twelve-month personnel should remain on call. All extracurricular activities will be canceled.
Teachers should have assignments posted for students in grades 3-12 no later than 9:00 a.m. this morning. Students in grades K-2 will work on their Virtual Learning Day Board (if you need a copy, a link is posted on the front page of our website). If students are unable to complete their work, they have three days to make up any assignments. Schools will follow up with more information as needed.
