FANNIN COUNTY, Ga. – A high speed police chase on Hwy 515 in Fannin County has resulted in a wreck.
According to reports, police were in pursuit of a Ford Ranger coming from Ellijay.
Allegedly, the occupant(s) of the vehicle then began to throw drugs or drug paraphernalia out of the truck.
The truck eventually crashed into another vehicle in Fannin County.
The crash is located by the bridge going over the Toccoa River near the dam.
It is reported that air life support was needed.
