Your Fannin County Rebels are headed to the Big Dance thanks to their Region 7AA tournament victory over Gordon Central on Tuesday night.

This marks just the second time in school history that the Rebels will be competing in the GHSA State Playoffs, the only other time coming in 2007.

Head Coach Bryan Richerson took to Twitter to say how proud he was of his team and their accomplishments so far this season:

I couldn’t be more proud of a group of guys, coaching staff, this program & community who have stuck with the boys throughout. Hardwork, Commitment & Believing in one another is why these guys have been successful. Now time to take the next step, Region Semis Thurs!! Let’s Go!

The Rebels have been led by guards Jordan Richerson and Ben Bloch, who once again had standout performances last night in the Region Tournament.
