Team Notes

Its not everyday you dominate an opponent the way Fannin County did on Friday night, and its even rarer when you do it all in the first half. The Rebels wasted no time winning this game as they tallied all six touchdowns in the first half. Their defense was outstanding pitching the shut out and the ground game for Fannin kept the ball in their hands for the majority of this game. Sullivan led the way for the offense totaling 138 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Callihan finished with 96 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries while CJ Reece added the final Rebels score on a three-yard run. The Rebels defense would finish with eight PD, two sacks, and 5.5 TFLs.

As for Gordon Central, nothing went right for them. They were completely outmatched on both sides of the ball. QB Peyton Chastian finished 7/18 for just 32 yards while RB Brandon Thomas led the ground game with 23 yards on seven carries.

Look Ahead

As mentioned, the Rebels will head into their scheduled Bye Week before hosting the 3-1 Model Blue Devils on 10/06. Meanwhile, Gordon Central falls to 0-5 (0-1) on the year and will square off against the 0-5 Haralson County Rebels this Friday night.
