Carter Mann, Sawyer Moreland, Jackson Davis and Cason Owensby walk out as captains for Fannin

 

Fannin County defeated Region Rival Pepperell 40-14 last Friday night in Blue Ridge. The Rebel Defense played lights out all night. Holding the AA State’s Leading Rusher DJ Rogers for Pepperell to only 27 rushing yards. Andrew Waldrep led the team with 9 Tackles, Cason Owensby had 8 tackles, Cade Sands had 7 tackles to lead the Rebels in Tackles on Friday. Logan Long, Jason Pearson, Rico Arellanes, Levi Cochran, all had tackles for loss for the Rebels. Jeremy Tammen, Nate Maloof and Long applied QB Hurries. In The Secondary, Carson Collis had an Interception, Corbin Davenport and Cade Sands had pass deflections.

Fannin County had 487 Total Yards. The Rebels were led offensively by Seth Reece 289 Total Yards, 3 Touchdowns.  The Rebels had 359 Rushing Yards by Reece ( 161) Cason Owensby ( 88) Bryson Holloway ( 70) and Carson Callihan ( 40) all 4 Rebel players had Touchdowns on the night. Hayden Lynch, Bryson Holloway and Corbin Davenport had over 40 yards receiving. Davenport caught a touchdown pass from Reece.

Fannin County High School, Students, Fans, Band, Cheerleaders created one of the best High School Football Atmosphere’s this past Friday Night. The Rebel Nation clearly was the 12th man in the Region win over Rival Pepperell. Below is the video.

Fannin improves to 5-1, 2-0 in Region 7AA. Fannin has a bye week this week before traveling to Model on October 15th
