Macon, Ga: All Fannin County wrestlers earned the opportunity to compete in the GHSA 2A State Championships this week in Macon, and they definitely made the most of that opportunity.

Heading into Wednesday night the Rebels were in second place behind Lovett, trailing 146.5 to 136.

Blake Summers was able to win the 106 pound individualState Title, and his teammates rallied around and scored enough points for the Rebels to be crowned 2A Traditional State Champsand win the programs first State Title!

Korbin Davenport placed second in the 152 pound weight class.

Kainan Henson finished on the podium in third place in the 120 pound weight class, and McCay Turner was able to secure his spot on the podium with a third place finish in the 160 pound weight class.

A special group of kids and a great group of coaches helped carry on the winning tradition at Fannin County.
