Georgia Mountains Health offering free drive up COVID-19 testing

BLUE RIDGE, Ga – Georgia Mountains Health is offering drive by testing for anyone in our area who meets the nationally recognized testing criteria.  Insurance is accepted and the test is free for those without insurance.

Our drive by testing site is located at our parking lot, 165 Blue Ridge Overlook.  Currently, we are testing between 2:00 – 3:00 Monday through Friday.

People who are experiencing cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, body aches, loss of taste, or diarrhea should call our office at 706-946-4647 for an evaluation of their need for testing and get scheduled.  We are also testing first responders and health care workers who believe they were exposed to the virus. Testing will not be performed without a confirmed appointment for COVID-19 testing.

Georgia Mountains Health is following CDC recommendations and guidelines for protecting our patients and staff.

We continue with our normal office hours for those who require a physical visit.  Those not requiring a physical visit may take advantage of our telehealth service.  Anyone who needs primary healthcare can call 706-946-4647 to schedule an office or telehealth appointment.
