Carol Lea Baliles, age 73, of Copperhill, TN, passed away on January 16, 2020. She was born in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Audlee and Ellen Marie Dilbeck Ritchie. She had worked for Levi Strauss for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed gambling in her spare time. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Ritchie; sisters, Kathy Payne, Linda Underhill and Virginia Mathis.
She is survived by sisters, Frances (LG) Hamilton, Wanda (Tommy) Millsaps, Mary (Dean) Mashburn, Doris Ritchie and Lois Jones; brothers, Roger Ritchie, Johnny (Diane) Ritchie, brother-in-law, Bill Underhill; granchildren, Kaylee Workman, Sophia Garcia, Mason Workman; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from the Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery with Min. Keith Ritchie officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Carol’s nephews. Honorary Pallbearers are Andrew Jones and Bob Wagner. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M – 8:00 P.M.
