Jordan Bennett is the TeamFYNSports Writer’s Player of the Week for the Rebels!

Bennett, a sophomore guard, had two solid games last week as Fannin Co. (3-6, 0-4 Region 7-AAA) narrowly lost a pair of region games by a combined eight points.

“Jordan has been a consistent player for us this year,” Rebels head coach Bryan Richerson said. “He does a great job on both ends of the floor for us and is going to have a bright future here at Fannin Co.”

Against Cherokee Bluff (6-4, 3-0) on Friday, Dec. 13, Bennett scored 14 points, which included four made 3-pointers, in the 61-54 loss for the Rebels in Blue Ridge.

Earlier in the week, Bennett scored eight points in a 65-64 overtime loss to Lumpkin Co. (4-7, 2-2), also in Blue Ridge.
