Kaeden Twiggs has been selected as the TeamFYNSports Writer’s Player of the Week for the Rebels!
Twiggs, a junior guard, averaged nearly 15 points per game during the annual north Georgia Thanksgiving tournament Nov. 23 – 26 in Blue Ridge.
Fannin Co. (2-2) placed third in the tournament after a tough, 40-38 loss to Gilmer in the third-place game Nov. 26.
Twiggs scored a team-high 15 points against Gilmer. He did the exact same thing just a day before in a 51-44 loss to Pickens with a team-high 15 points.
Against Hiwassee Dam on the first day of the tournament Nov. 23, Twiggs put up 14 points in the 62-41 Fannin Co. victory. Twiggs was behind only fellow junior Cohutta Hyde’s game-high 21.
Twiggs and Hyde, along with Jordan Bennett, were named to the all-tournament team.
