The entire 2nd grade from Blue Ridge Elementary School visited New Echota State Historic Site in Calhoun, GA on October 16. The children were able to tour various historic buildings and visit Sequoyah’s printing press. This field trip was free to the children and was funded by The “Get Outdoors (GO) Georgia” Field Trip Grant which is made possible by the Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites and the Georgia Natural Resources Foundation.

Just wanted to pass along this opportunity that our entire 2nd Grade had to visit the New Echota State Historic Site. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
