West Fannin fifth grade partnering with Fannin Regional

West Fannin Elementary’s fifth-grade class is currently partnering with Fannin Regional Hospital to learn more about the human body.
In the West Fannin STEM/STEAM Lab, the 5th-grade students are currently studying the skeletal system and how x-rays are used to view bones.

has changed over the years, and the various types of bone fractures.
Students also received the opportunity to view images of real X-rays.
Principal Lucas Roof said, “We are very thankful at West Fannin to have wonderful partnerships like this that help provide our students with unique and meaningful experiences.”
