Sharell Evelyn Patterson: Obituary

Sharell Evelyn Patterson, age 79, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at her home. Ms. Patterson was born on February 25, 1940 in Loganville, WV to the late Richard Posey Sisson and Ruth Elma Reece Sisson. She worked as a winder for Shaw Carpet and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles “Rondall” Sisson and Vince Sisson.

She is survived by her children, Pam Freeman of Blue Ridge, Keith Huffman of Morganton, George Watson of Blue Ridge, Doyle Patterson of Epworth, Danny Patterson of Epworth, and Tanya Juarez of Blue Ridge; a sister-in-law, Annette Sisson of Copperhill; 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. from the Sisson Family Cemetery with Rev. Bob Richardson officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Bob Richardson. Pallbearers will be Corey Dixon, Austin Watson, Hunter Patterson, Asher Patterson, Isaac Broughton, Jesse Patterson, and Josh Patterson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
