The Fannin County Young Farmer Association (FCYFA) held its August Agriculture Talk and monthly business meeting on August 19 at the Agriculture Center at 6:00pm. This months’ Ag Talk was titled Youth in Agriculture and was presented by four Fannin County High School FFA members Patrick Conner, Layne Epperson, Noah Hess and Emilee Thomas; three Fannin County Middle School FFA members Addison McDermott, Claire Wheeler and Ethan Conner and two Fannin County 4-H members Jayci White and Jacob Williams. The students gave presentations on what experiences they had in agriculture over the summer. The talks ranged from summer leadership camps, to summer jobs, to livestock projects. The FCYFA monthly business meeting was held after the presentations, dinner was provided and was sponsored by Uncle B’s Feed.
